Well, by the time you all are getting your read on here, I'll be pretty close to being back at the home base. Once I get back to my usual blogging grounds, business will resume as normal around here. As it stands right now, E3 may have come and gone, but we still need to know what you all are playing this weekend!
So, what will be spinning inside your Wii? What cart will you be rocking in your DS? How are you getting your game on this weekend?
This week saw the long wait for Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon come to an end. Square Enix fans, Chocobo fans and dungeon crawling fans alike all have something new and fun to play. The critics seemed to like it, is what we're saying. But, what about you all?
Our weekend is pretty much going to be full of Civilization Revolution, until next week arrives and we find ourselves neck-deep in work. Are you going to be playing Chocobo's Dungeon, or is this weekend going to find you playing something else?
This week's notable title is none other than Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. With nothing else on the radar, we're wondering how many of you pounced on this one? Personally, we're not big Aerosmith fans, but that's just us.
If you aren't playing that, then what's going to be spinning in your Wii? What are you be playing?
How do we know you aren't playing Alone in the Dark? Because nobody is playing Alone in the Dark. Seriously, we can't find any reviews for the Wii version anywhere. So, with that, we wonder what exactly are you playing? There's plenty of new games to choose from this week.
Of this week's releases, the only notable title is Rock Band. Following our poll regarding the game, we know a lot of you are steering clear of the title, and we can't blame you, especially with the promising Guitar Hero: World Tour hitting shelves later this year. But, we're getting ahead of ourselves.
With the weekend here, what will you be playing during your downtime? Did you pick up Rock Band? Playing something else, like Okami or Mario Kart Wii? What disc is going to be spinning in your Wii this weekend?
Hey, did you know that Blast Works released this week? Yeah, it's all up on retail shelves right now, waiting for you to pick it up and buy it. Our copy is out there right now, cold and alone, awaiting our loving embrace. But, what about you?
Nabbing Blast Works yourself? Picking up something else? What will you be playing this weekend?
This week's releases only show one title that we're particularly interested in (hint: it's pictured in the post above), but that's not to say other notable titles aren't releasing. Some of you have been following The Incredible Hulk, we're sure, as its promise to let you destroy tons of stuff will be enough to get you on board. Actually, reading that last sentence, we're kind of interested, too.
Anywho, what will you be playing this weekend? Going to pick up LEGO Indiana Jones? Going to pick something else up, perhaps a WiiWare game? What are you playing?
This week saw some pretty low-scoring releases hit the Wii. Frankly, we already forgot what they were. Oh, nevermind, now we know. Nothing much there. Bleh.
Still, we wonder if any of you were looking forward to Ubisoft Barcelona's first foray into the Wii in Emergency Heroes? There haven't been any reviews yet, that we could find, so we don't know what to expect. If you're not down with that, then what will you be playing this weekend?
This week's big release is none other than Wii Fit. It's not only something many of you diehard Wii fans have been looking forward to, but also the mainstream public. Mothers and kids, grandparents and siblings, people from all walks of life have raised an eyebrow and perked their ears up after hearing about it. People are down with the fitness bundle.
Are you? Did you get your copy of Wii Fit yet? Are you planning on getting in some quality workout time this weekend? Are you playing something else? What are you playing?
Looking over this week's releases, we're pretty dead set on wanting to get some quality time in with Deca Sports (previewing it got us intrigued). Sure, there's We Ski, but until the Balance Board releases (well, until Wii Fitreleases, we should say), we're not down with it. Almost all of the appeal for us is the Balance Board support, but, hey, maybe we're alone in that.
So what will you all be playing this weekend? Checking out WiiWare titles? Got another game you've been working on? Picking up one of this week's releases? Interested in Deca Sports, like us?
Looking over this week's releases, we're fairly certain we know what most of you looking for a new experience to enjoy will be playing. Boom Blox does look very intriguing, so we're right there with you. Will it be everything it's cracked up to be? Well, those of you with the game already may feel free to let us know what you think! The rest of you who aren't going to be playing Boom Blox, tell us what you're playing!
Uh, no post title, it is in fact notIron Man (although, we should say the prospect of seeing the film this weekend sounds nice). What we're all going to be playing, no doubt, is Mario Kart Wii. With its multitude of tracks, online play and plethora of control schemes available (got to love that wheel!), it looks like it's a shoe-in for this weekend's down time. What about you all?
Will you be racing it up in Mario Kart Wii, or are you playing something else? Maybe you're still chipping away at Okami? What are you playing?

What are you Playing? is a weekly feature where we ask what it is that you're, well ... playing! Every Friday, look for a new topic and a new chance to converse with the community about what games you're enjoying and which games are disappointing. So tell us already!
For us, the only title of interest in this week's releases is Battle of the Bands. We'll admit that we enjoy the rhythm-based games quite a bit, so naturally it appeals to us. Of course, what with us being bloggers and all, we probably won't get a chance to play it until Nintendo's next console is released.
That isn't the case for you all, we're sure, who have time to play games and read gaming blogs on the internet (thanks!). What will you be playing this weekend? Picking up anything new?
For most of you, the standout title this week is likely to be Okami. Hey, it's the same for us, too! In fact, we're prepared to say that Okami is the best game we never played! Of course, that's not to say that Okami is the only game that the lot of you will be checking out this week. Several other titles were also available for those of you looking to get into something new.
Will you be picking up Okami? Or are you checking out something else this weekend?
Many folks have had their eye on Baroque, taking note of its release this week. And if you aren't one of those people, then this isn't your week. There's, uh, Mini Copter Adventure Flight, if you're brave enough to try and tackle such a big adventure in such a smallcopter. But, other than that, nada.
So are you going to check out Atlus' RPG? We suggest you wait for a certain gaming blog to weigh in first, as they're in the process of reviewing it as you read this. Until then, might we suggest seeing if there is a Virtual Console game you want to download or checking out one of the many Wii games that recently received a price slash? If not, what are you playing?
